What Nightscout Pro Provides

Instant Nightscout Setup

We handle the entire process of setting up your Nightscout site:

• Automated Site Creation: Your site is live within approximately 1 minute of signup
• Database Configuration: We set up and configure all necessary databases
• Server Deployment: We handle all server-side technical requirements
• Domain Management: Your site is hosted on a reliable, secure domain

Ongoing Maintenance and Updates

We take care of all the technical maintenance that would normally require significant time and expertise:

• Server Maintenance: We ensure your server is always running optimally
• Database Management: We handle database backups and performance optimization
• Security Updates: We keep your site secure with regular updates
• Version Updates: We update your Nightscout installation when new versions are released
• Performance Monitoring: We continuously monitor your site to ensure it’s running smoothly

Technical Infrastructure

What’s Not Included

While we strive to provide comprehensive support, there are some limitations to be aware of:

Third-Party App Support

Most issues users encounter are related to third-party apps that we cannot directly control:

• Uploader Apps: While we can provide general guidance on connecting apps like xDrip+, Spike, Loop, or AndroidAPS to Nightscout, we cannot provide in-depth support for these applications themselves
• CGM Systems: We cannot provide support for issues with your CGM hardware or manufacturer’s software
• Insulin Pumps: We cannot provide support for insulin pump hardware or software
• Follower Apps: We can help connect follower apps to your Nightscout site, but cannot troubleshoot internal issues with these apps

Hardware Support

We cannot provide support for: – CGM hardware issues – Pump hardware issues – Smartphone or device hardware problems – Bluetooth or connectivity hardware issues

Additional Assistance

Despite these limitations, we understand that the diabetes technology ecosystem can be complex. While not formally included in your subscription:

• We are familiar with most third-party apps in the diabetes ecosystem
• We are happy to help where we can, even with third-party apps
• We can often provide general guidance or point you in the right direction for issues outside our direct support scope
